Please join us for the 6th annual Orange Shirt Day walk, organized by the Friends of the Dundas Roncesvalles Peace Garden, in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th.

Everyone is welcome to come and gather at the Dundas Roncesvalles Peace Garden, located at 2201 Dundas Street West, starting at 3:45pm.

Robin Makri will share teachings on native plants and samples of sacred medicines. Danielle Migwans will sing, drum, and teach participants an Indigenous song, for all to sing on the Orange Shirt Walk between the Peace Garden and Garden Avenue.

At ‘The Original Fire’ mural on Garden, there will be more singing, plus snacks, cedar tea and refreshing drinks for all, ending at 5pm.
