It’s official: our street is now unified within the Roncesvalles Village BIA. Now all Roncesvalles businesses will benefit from increased city funding, improved streetscapes and the reduced costs of doing business that come with being a BIA member.
At its special meeting on March 12, the expanded BIA welcomed five new members to its Board of Directors. Four of the new directors come from the southern expansion area, and one from the north:
Aaron Jaglowizt, General Manger, Days Inn, (south end) – will pass on comments from American and other visitors to the area as to what areas need improvement.
Krys Streich, Executive Director of Copernicus Lodge (south end) – wants to ensure residents of Copernicus Lodge have a safe and beautiful environment.
Catherine Huizenga, Owner, Mrs. Huizenga, (south end) – feels it’s important to help shape the future of Roncesvalles.
Brian Teeney, Homestead Tax Services, (south end) – wants to assist with the BIA’s accounting and finances
Carla Zazzarino, Owner, Centre for Well Being, (north end) – is interested in marketing, events and beautification.
Welcome to all new board members!
