My Polish Childhood (2024)

This artwork uses vibrant colours and bold lines inspired by traditional Polish folklore as seen through a stylized, Canadian lens. The artist visually combined her Polish childhood with her Canadian upbringing. The birds represent a sense of belonging and freedom while the florals connect to original decorative cutouts.
