Named for its “back lane” studio entrance in Roncesvalles Village, Back Lane Studios was established in 2015 by Ellen Moorhouse to preserve and share neighbourhood stories through practical film and photo workshops for all ages. With our SilverShorts Doc Project, we are encouraging seniors to tell their stories and are building a volunteer team of seniors with video skills to continue collecting more oral histories. We also offer space for artists to display their work, for workshops and events.
