Planting has been completed in our 27 garden beds from Dundas St to Marion Ave!
Parkdale Green Thumb completed planting 400 native pollinators across our garden beds last week. These new additions connect to our brand new Pollinator Garden in front of the 8th Fire Mural. This creates a pollinator corridor running the length of Roncesvalles Avenue!
The 4 garden beds from Marion to Queen that the RVBIA took over this year are also being planted soon, through that process is ongoing. PGTE proposed using the Miyazaki method on these beds, and we will be implementing that this year.
A reminder to everyone: these beds are growing brand new plants. It’s very important that dogs and people stay out of the beds so that they can thrive! We appreciate everyone’s help in supporting the beds.
