The Power Savings Blitz program is continuing, and has been expanded to include restaurants and grocers.

The Power Savings Blitz program is an Ontario Power Authority (OPA) incentive program offered through Toronto Hydro delivered by Nedco. The program involves a free lighting audit completed by Nedco and up to $1,000 of free lighting upgrades!

Although this sounds too good to be true, businesses and properties have no obligation to purchase more than the free $1,000 of energy savings products and installation they are eligible to receive. This program is open to offices and retail businesses who will not only benefit from better lighting but reduced electricity costs for years to come.
