The Roncesvalles Village BIA is aware of an incident that occurred at a shop in our community on March 26th that has shed light on reports of similar incidents of harassment. We have reached out to the parties involved to understand what happened.
We denounce refusing service to customers on the basis of their identity. We are working with the appropriate community members to learn from this moment and prevent this from continuing to happen.
We are committed to helping both business owners and community members learn and do better.
