Tansi! Welcome all ages! September 30th on Roncesvalles Avenue

Toronto’s recent apology comes to life 137 years after its roles in quashing the Métis Resistance of 1885

Gather at the Peace Garden (at Dundas Street): songs and silence for Indigenous children who died at residential schools.

Join the Orange Shirt Walk down the street to Roncesvalles United Church, (at Wright Avenue)

Inside, see artifacts and hear stories from Métis history.

Learn to clap spoons, or get up and dance to Métis fiddlers.
