We have received a letter from Service Canada outlining a program that can help businesses and employees in these difficult economic times.

Work Sharing is an adjustment program designed to help employers avoid temporary layoffs by providing income support to workers who are eligible for EI benefits and are willing to work a temporarily reduced work week. In short, this program allows employers to reduce their payroll while lessening the impact on workers. The letter is available for download here.
