Councillor Gord Perks, along with the Roncesvalles Village BIA, will be hosting a light exchange. This very special opportunity will take place on Saturday, November 24th between 2-4 pm in front of the Polish Credit Union, 220 Roncesvalles Avenue.

LED Light Exchange

All residents of the City of Toronto can participate in this great event by bringing two old strings of incandescent (traditional) seasonal lights and exchanging them for one set of energy-efficient LED seasonal lights. Please note that this offer is available to the first 500 families and is limited to one exchange per family.

LED lights reduce the amount of electricity used, cost less and are better for the environment. LED lights are long lasting (up to 60,000 hours per bulb) and turn on and off instantly. They are more durable and safer to use, as they do not generate the intense heat of incandescent bulbs.

Use LED lights this holiday season and enjoy the savings that they bring! Please visit www.torontohydro.com/SLED for more information. To view a copy of the flyer that was distributed to the community, click here.
